The Photographic Society of New Zealand
The Photographic Society of New Zealand, Inc. (PSNZ) is the National body for its members and camera clubs throughout New Zealand. PSNZ was founded in 1953 in Queenstown and now has over 1000 members with a further 2000 approximately, belonging to our more than 60 affiliated photography clubs located throughout New Zealand. PSNZ is focused on the advancement of photography as a craft and art form, while promoting friendship, cooperation and the exchange of ideas among members. The activities available to members include national and regional conventions, photographic competitions and exhibitions, field trips, educational workshops, publications and importantly, the wonderful opportunity for members to achieve a highly respected photographic distinction.
